This is awesome!

Quick question - if we have multiple books, should we make a listing for each one? Or would it make more sense to link to a hub? I ask because I'll have 11 books by the end of the year.

That's a good question! I'll answer more as a reader than a site administrator. A hub would be the most efficient, but my instinct is that if all of your books are substantially different, I would probably lean toward listing them individually, as you never know which one will catch a reader's interest first. However, series could be grouped together (though they don't have to be) so readers have an easier time locating related books and links. Of course, you're free to list them however you prefer!

This is great! I have the same questions as above, plus one more: What constitutes an indie press?

Thanks, Steve! That's a great question, too! I think the definition on Wikipedia's "Small Press" page is pretty widely accepted, and should serve our purposes:

"Independent press is generally defined as publishers that are not part of large conglomerates or multinational corporations." Basically, not part of the Big 5, including their imprints, etc.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_press#

Hope that helps!

Romance: yes, we’re here. At the moment, some of us newbs—I and my other Stack, that is—are still up to our eyelashes in the setup of a multi-platform migration before dumping mass quantities of words on here. All in on Substack, yo! But I’m currently still tinkering, learning, and drafting intro posts to the widely varied stuff I’ll be sharing.

This is so cool and I can’t thank you enough! Y’all will be the third to know when I’ve got mine up enough to list.

Goodness we need some more women writers on this platform (I’m still hoping for some more YA!) One that’s missing: https://authorkimkieu.substack.com/s/my-alpha-nerd

Also sorry, my links are broken again!

They are:

Yay, a romance :-D Thanks for bringing this book to our attention! I'd love to add this to The Library. And we'll get your links fixed asap, thanks.

Fab! Will update US availability of The Pelican Crossing post-publication on 28 July. Perhaps, will rename as The Hawk Beacon at that stage. Appreciations as ever...
