This is The Library, where readers can check out all the best books Substack has to offer. Search for and find your next great read here!
The Library is exactly what it sounds like. Well, sort of. With so many writers publishing full-length works of fiction here on Substack, as well as nonfiction works like biographies and memoirs, it became clear that readers need a central location to easily peruse and find books that interest them.
Our answer: The Library. An all-in-one resource for readers interested in discovering great reads and new authors.
How it works
While The Library is free for all to use, subscribers essentially get a digital Library Card, which not only provides access to all the best indie titles available on Substack, but also ensures you never miss new releases. The Library will send notices to members about new works added to the collection, so you’ll never miss the chance to discover your next great read!
For Authors
As writers, we know the hard work and dedication it takes to write a book. Don’t let your work go unnoticed! We hope to list as many of the books published on Substack as possible so readers can find and enjoy them. If you are an author who wants your work included in The Library, please send us the details!
We just need a little info from you for our listing:

At this time, we are only accepting books being serialized or published in full on Substack, whether free or behind a paywall. The full text of your book must eventually be available to readers on Substack to be eligible.
Send your listing to: thelinklibrary@substack.com, or storyletter@protonmail.com.
Be sure to update us with changes to your listing! For example, if your In Progress work is now Complete, let us know and we’ll update your listing. If at any time, you’d like your book removed from The Library, simply ask.
